TALON

BLAZE NEW TRAILS

Experience Real Mountain Biking

To experience real trail riding at its best, you need a real mountain bike. That’s where the new Talon comes in. This hardtail combines sharp looks and design with true off-road capabilities, all within reach of most riders’ budgets.

A lot of entry-level mountain bikes will only get you so far. As your skills progress and you push yourself farther, lower quality bikes can end up letting you down.

The Talon is designed to grow with you. It’s built on a lightweight, durable ALUXX aluminum frame with geometry that’s optimized for its size-specific wheels and suspension fork.

Size Specific Options

The smallest Talon frames (XS) are designed for 27.5-inch wheels. Size Small comes in both 27.5 and 29-inch wheel options, while Medium, Large, XL and XXL sizes are equipped with 29-inch wheels. The size-specific setup applies to the suspension too. XS and Small 27.5-inch frames come with 80mm forks, all others have 100mm forks.

Optimized For You

As a result, all riders—no matter their age, height or experience level—get a bike that’s designed just for them when it comes to confidence, control and performance on the trail.

The frame is crafted with a proprietary alloy material that’s 30 percent stiffer than traditional aluminum, and lighter too. You’ll feel this on every climb.

The seatstays and top tube are now in alignment for a more aggressive outlook and consistent style throughout the full size range of frames. And the top tube has a lower sloping design, making Talon easier to maneuver on technical terrain.

The frame also features internal cable routing, with the derailleur, brake and dropper post cables all routed through integrated ports. This helps saves weight and gives Talon a cleaner look.

The components are designed and chosen for off-road performance and durability. All models come with durable wheels and tires, which allow you to run lower tire pressures for increased traction and a reduced risk of punctures. There’s plenty of clearance for wide 2.4-inch tires to give you better grip and control.

Other modern MTB features include a 12x142mm rear thru-axle and a UDH derailleur hanger; a 1.5-inch tapered head tube; and a 30.9mm seat tube diameter for dropper seatposts with internal cable routing. And most models feature 1X drivetrains for optimal shifting performance.

Mounts on the seatstays and chainstays make it easy to accessorize with racks, fenders or a KSA 18 kickstand.

It takes more than fat tires and a flat handlebar to make a mountain bike. Tip-to-tail, the new Talon gives you everything you need to take your trail riding adventures to the next level.
